If you are employed at a school that is in a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) which is already part of the school parking scheme and you have been given permission from the school. You may be able to apply for a school parking permit to allow you to park in some resident permit holders bays.
School parking permits are virtual, which means you do not need to display anything in your vehicle. Your permit is electronic and is associated with your vehicle registration number.
Patrolling Civil Enforcement Officers will be able to view your permit on their handheld computers.
You can apply for a 6 month, 9 month or 12 month permit.
The school permits cannot be used in the area immediately surrounding the school. This area will be defined before the permits are issued. It is the responsibility of the school permit applicant to find out from the school if there are any exception roads prior to applying for a school parking permit.
The school permits can only be used during working hours and term times only. The times and dates will have been agreed before the scheme begins and may be subject to periodic review.
Where numbers are limited, the school will be expected to allocate permits according to their own policies.
You will receive email renewal reminders in advance of the permit expiry date.
